Preparing to Start Therapy
Thank you for booking your first therapy session, I can't wait to work with you!
-
There are a few “housekeeping” things to do before we are ready to start therapy.
-
Please keep your therapy kit in a safe place. There is a $30 charge to replace it for you. Also, take care of your Range of Motion (ROM) scale and cotton rolls, you will need them at the end of the program!
-
If you haven’t already done it, check your internet speed here, and make sure your camera and speakers are working here.
-
Play around in Zoom before starting our meetings. It is important to know how to troubleshoot.
-
Once you have received your kit, please capture and send any additional requested photos/videos before scheduling your first appointment (unless otherwise instructed). Example templates are shown below. You may share the photos/videos via Google Drive or email them to me at Braelyn@GetFunctionalFirst.com
-
Use the link provided in your Welcome to Therapy e-mail to schedule your first appointment.
-
As soon as your invoice is paid, your therapy program begins. If you delay scheduling we will ultimately have less time together.
Please note: We do not do abbreviated sessions! There is a strict no-show policy and after 5-minutes we will cancel your appointment. Exceptions will only be made in the case of unusual technical difficulties if we receive an e-mail notifying us immediately.
Unexcused no-show cancellations will not be "made-up" or re-scheduled.
** Please make sure that all photos are clear and not blurry or too dark. If you have taken a photo and it is dark, please RETAKE IT WITH A FLASH or in better lighting! Blurry or dark photos are not helpful. Save time later by making sure your photos are useful now!
If you’ve already taken the necessary photos for your comprehensive evaluation, you only need to send these remaining pre-therapy photos and any requested retakes.
